Jazz fusion style drummer, keyboardist… In early ‘70s he was briefly a member of the avant-garde group OHO, then the jazz/funk Both Worlds before going on to an illustrious career performing with artists such as Sun Ra, Ronnie Laws, Cissy Houston, Brecker Brothers, John Scofield, etc.
Larry’s 1978 LP “Solar Visions” featured Bright on drums, with Tony Parris (bass), Marc Cohen (keyboards), Jimmy Wilson (trumpet), Paul Soroka (lyricon), and Gary Grainger (bass).
During the late ‘70s Bright performed at the Orient Express on Reisterstown Road, Tijuana Jail in Towson, and with his band at the 1st Annual Baltimore Jazz Festival at Towson State in June 1979.

His 1987 LP “New Dimensions” featured Bright on keyboards and drums, with Wilson (trumpet), John Grant (guitar), Tony Bunn (bass), Mark Easley (bass), and Ivan Smart (trumpet).
Bright’s career later took him to Las Vegas.
