The Trendells started around 1966 by Don Snyder (guitar ex-Sonny V & the Velvets), with John Roberts (bass), and Bill Wilson (drums). Joe Ritter (Jennie & Jay) joined on keyboard in 1967. Don and Joe both sang lead.
The group performed at the Mark Lounge, Nina’s Musical Bar on Oldham Street, Aero Lounge…
In 1968 the Trendells became known as the 2nd Generation.
