Formerly known as the Trendells, the 2nd Generation could be heard on weekends at the Golden Ring Inn. Members were Don Snyder (guitar), John Roberts (bass), Joe Ritter (keyboard), and Bill Wilson (drums). Billed in 1969 as Chuck Blevins & the 2nd Generation. Chuck sang and emceed for the group introducing the characters Don and Jay (as lead vocalists) would become as side acts: Tiny Tim, James White (Brown), Col. Sanders, the pregnant drummer…
The group later changed their name to SOB (see bio).
