A cappella group formed at the Somerset Housing Projects. Originally known as The Box Boys named after their start singing at the local Jack in The Box.

1993 debut cassette


Their 1993 debut cassette album notes members Dewayne McNeil, Wayne Early, Milton Ames, Anthony Griffin, and Wayne McNeil. The set was produced by Tony Sciuto, recorded and mixed by Arnold Geher at High Heel Studios in Owings Mills. The group was 1993 winner of New York Regionals For A Cappella Singing.
By 2003 the lineup featured Dewayne and Milton with Aubrey Brown Jr., and Charles Ballou. By 2005 members were Dewayne, Milton, Aubrey with John Tiller, and Isaiah Simmons

The group went on to perform at festivals and hundreds of colleges and universities. They were winner of College Circuit’s Entertainer of the Year.
They were Mid-Atlantic Sweepstakes Champions 2003, 2005, and 2006, also in 2006 finished 2nd place in national finals.

Regency shared stages with the Temptations, Manhattan Transfer, and many other national acts.
