R&B/jazz vocalist started out singing for fun at various private functions. In 1998 she entered and won the Coors Light Super Talent Showcase, winning a cash prize and a showcase at the Warner Theater in D.C. Promotor Gene McBride was impressed and recommended her to Georgetown based Top-40 group Mad Cap (1988-89). In 1991 she was vocalist on Kim Waters’ CD “Sax Appeal.”

Debbie continued to enter and win vocal contests including Baltimore’s Best Vocalist hosted by DJ Tim Watts in ‘90s. From 1995-98 she was a member of Clay Hunt’s Pure Delight, performing regularly at Rascals, Whispers, Ocean City clubs, etc… and continued working with Clay when he needed a female vocalist. In 2005 Debbie won the annual Billie Holiday Vocal Competition at the Meyerhoff. Since 2005 Debbie sang with the jazz group Spice, worked with producer, videographer, multi-instrumentalist Matt Williams. She released a solo CD “In the Midst of Love” in 2012.
