Indie rock band formed in 2000 by Roman Kuebler (guitarist/bassist ex-Spoon, Roads to Space Travel…). Members included Kuebler with Dave Voyles (drums), Daniel Black (guitar) replaced with Doug Gillard (ex-Guided by Voices). The band also included guitarists Virat Shukla, Greg McKenna, Art Lavis, and Matt Dickinson, plus keyboardist Lauren Madow. Bassist Michael Boarman was replaced by Tim Johnston, who left in 2006, and was replaced with Faye Malarkey, then Pat Martin. The group was voted Best Rock Band in a 2002 City Paper poll.
