Hard rock covers and originals band evolved from the Ravyns, and Rob Fahey’s Word of Mouth. The original lineup began performing concurrent with Word of Mouth featuring members Kevin ‘Spike’ Settles (lead vocals), and David Bell (guitar). Rounding out the band were Ravyns veterans Lee Townsend (bass), adding Tim Steele (drums). Bell was soon to leave and was temporarily replaced with Tony Sciuto before Ron Zebron (ex-Cha Cha Boys, Zebron) came aboard as full-time guitarist.

In 1993 they released their first album of original music titled “Hurricane in My Heart.” Shortly afterward Settles moved to California and the group split up in 1994. By late 1995 the group re-formed with Settles, Townsend, Steele, and Zebron. Townsend left in 1996 and was replaced with Angelo Cammarata (bass ex-Zebron, XYZ…). Steele left in 1998 and was replaced with Shawn Hughes (ex-click, Great Train Robbery). With this lineup they released their self-titled 4-song EP.

Additional members included bass guitarists Erik Krakau (ex-Bad Mouth), Dave DeMarco, Eric Scott… Drummers Nick Bertling, and John Davis.
