Folk / pop guitarist with a sound similar to James Taylor. He began writing original compositions in the early ‘70s along with friend Calvin Davis. He performed around the area at various clubs, pubs, and lounges before moving on to the Boston area. Daryl traveled to many states along the East Coast performing from North Carolina to New Hampshire.

In 1979 Beard released an album on Baltimore’s U.C.P. Records titled “One of Everything.” The LP featured Daryl on acoustic guitars, Jay Cincotta (electric piano), Bob Bush (bass), David Huether (drums ex-Vehicle), Vince Vigliotti (electric guitar). The album also featured guest appearances by Michael Hedges (flute), and vocalists Rick LaRocca and Pat Turner.
Rick is a concert promoter who also played in several Columbia based bands in the ‘70s. David and Vince joined the Danny Lough Band in 1980. Vince played with the group Knucklehead in the ‘00s.
