Jazz pianist and band leader. During late ‘60s led his Sextet – seen at clubs and dances throughout the area.
His jazz Trio performed at Gambrinus, and as house band at the Playboy Club in the ‘60s-70s featuring Maxwell (piano), Bob Hirschmann (guitar ex-Originals), and John Sanpery (drums).

After the Playboy Club burned down the group split up. Hirschmann went on to become known as Bobby Mann. Maxwell eventually moved to Philadelphia and then L.A. and continued to play music and record.
