Dennis recalls that “we played all over town including college fraternities, local clubs, etc. We started in Jacksonville playing at the Starting Gate often, Four Corners Inn, church dances, Jacksonville Fire Department dances, and built a following. We continued playing around town. We recorded some ‘sound-a-likes’ at Flight Three recording studio since we kind of sounded like Bachman-Turner Overdrive.” Unfortunately, Dennis does not know what ever happened to the recordings. After Mariah, Dennis went on to play with Rhapsody.

The publicity photo was taken at the Hampton Mansion. The 1929 Rolls Royce was there as Mariah played a job for the Chesapeake Rolls Royce Club.

Other early members included lead vocalist Julie Davis, guitarist Earl Spivey… Mariah could be heard on Wednesday nights at the Delaney Inn, and on Friday and Saturday nights at the Rocket Lounge on Harford Road. Davis later sang with Double Trouble, and Danny O’Day…

In early ‘90s Jill Morrow was lead vocalist. Dave Fason joined on guitar (ex-Smokin’ Country), Hagey remained as drummer, group also had bass, keyboards, and sax. Played clubs and weddings in MD and PA.
