Pop rock band formed by nucleus of The New Alliance. In 1994 the trio of Andy Bopp (lead vocals, guitar –Tiffany…), Dave Vespoint (bass), and Tom Sabia (drums –Junkyard Saints) became known as Love Nut.
The group won the 1994 Yamaha Soundcheck competition. Seen locally at Armadillo’s…
Their 1998 CD “Baltimucho” featured Bopp, and Vespoint, with Max Mueller (guitar, vocals), and Joe Parsons (drums).
In late ‘90s Bopp formed a concurrent group called Myracle Brah. His quirky power pop rock songs brought attention to the group in Europe, and he toured with a group consisting of Love Nut’s Joe Parsons (drums), with Mario Reirez (bass), and Paul Krysiak (keyboards ex-Splitsville). Reirez later replaced with Dennis Schocket (ex-Rattle Cats). The group Myracle Brah continued well into the ‘00s and released a series of recordings on the Rainbow Quartz label. Their song “The Way” was included on the “Invisible Sound Studios Sampler Vol. 1” CD.
Bopp also produced recordings including works by Kyf Brewer…
