Thrash metal band. Members included Mike Mohr (guitar, vocals), Mike Weddle (bass), and Rick Mason (drums).
Their song “For We Are Many” was included on 97 Underground’s 1989 comp “All Thrashed Out and No Place to Go.” To quote from the album liner notes, Legion consisted of “three maggots attempting to create good, original music in a very unoriginal Bon-Jovi look-alike music scene…” describing their music as Metallica-like with Rush influences. Due to the inhospitality of the club scene in acceptance of Thrash music, the group claimed to be “experimenting with the ‘Helsinki Formula’ in a vain attempt to grow their hair to extreme lengths so that they too can be rock stars.”
