The 14-piece soul band appeared at teen centers and school dances with the Fabulations in 1968.
Together they won a band battle at the Berkshire Teen Center on March 2, 1968. As the Lamoures they performed at a concert featuring the Radicals, the Misfortunes, and the Kavemen at St. Wenceslaus CYO on December 13, 1968. They were seen at the Keystone Inn on Holabird Avenue in 1971.
In April of 1970 the Lamoures added female vocalist Mary Francis. Mary later went on to sing for the Buddy Robbins Combo.
