A funk-fusion-jazz-rock band formed from the nucleus of Both Worlds. Members included leader Scott Johnson (keyboardist), with Dave Carrera (guitar), Tom McCormick (sax), and Ernie Thomas (drums) – all formerly of Both Worlds – with Paul Soroka (lyricon), and Tony Sciuto (guitar, vocals). They performed as a house band at No Fish Today. Many great local musicians came to jam with the band at the club.
Johnson, McCormick and Thomas also performed with the Johnson-Tilley Band. Johnson went on to join the Tony Sciuto Band in 1980 and was replaced with Bob Butta (ex-Exit, O’Donel Levy). The Johnson Brothers Band later evolved to become Night Flight.
