Acoustic group led by vocalist/composer Teresa Whitaker, joined by Frank Schwartz (guitar, bass and vocals; ex-Michael Hedges Band, Trigger Happy). The group performed at venues throughout the Baltimore area. Teresa and Frank eventually married, and continued playing together in local wedding band Relay, and the Earth & Sky Consort – an originals band that included Paul Levin (Irish uillean pipes). Frank and Paul were part of the original O’Malley’s March.
In the mid-90s Teresa and Frank moved to Connecticut where they continued playing in various groups of diverse musical styles, periodically making the trek back to the mid-Atlantic area. In 2004 they performed a concert with Tom Wisner at the Smithsonian Folk Festival in D.C. to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Wisner’s “Chesapeake Born” album. Frank released a 2004 album “Things Have a Way of Working Out.” In 2008 Frank released “Below the Radar”, Frank and Teresa released “Finding Home” and a 2008 CD reissue of the 1988 album “Earth & Sky Lullaby”. Teresa is a professional storyteller. She and Frank continue to record and perform.
