Gordon Haymes & his Orchestra appeared throughout the ‘50s playing at the Edgewater, Blue Mirror, Woody’s Lounge on N. Howard Street, Moe’s Lounge on Greene Street, Miller’s Supper Club. Members included Haymes, with Larry Springer (trumpet ex-High Timers), Gene Smith (vocals), Jerry Holstein (keyboards), Carroll Skinner (keys, accordion), and William Glock.
