Folk influenced guitarist / vocalist lived and played in Baltimore circa 1971-74. Haymes performed at colleges (JHU, Towson, Loyola…) and at the 15 Below.
Haymes recorded at Sheffield Studios and released a self-titled album that also featured guitarist Steve Askins.
Haymes toured and did some recordings with Askins and Cilla Shaw.
During the ‘70s he worked in the Little Rock area, often returning to Baltimore. Since the early ‘80s he has established himself as a solo artist and in bands throughout the central southern states from Nashville to Houston.
