Vocalist from Rosedale area. Brendan could be seen at Mort’s on weekends in 1963. Also appeared regularly at Sherries Showbar, and Club Venus through 1967.

His first record, co-written with Hank Levy, was recorded in 1964 at Monumental Studios produced by Joey Welz and released on Bat Records. Hanlon was backed by a group of jazz studio musicians whom they dubbed the Bat Men. Brendan & the Bat Men also released a Christmas album on Bat. He went on to release records nationally on the Columbia label and made a March 1967 Zoo Club appearance in support of his “All the King’s Horses” record release.
