Teen R&B band formed by ex-Rock-a-Billies Charlie Shriner (guitar), and Lou Hinkel (drums), Wayne Grimm (lead guitar), with Gary Loomis (tenor sax), Jim Lockard (sax), Alex Margaritas (trombone), Nick Margaritas (piano), and bringing in vocalist Marty Thompson (also an ex-Rock-a-Billie), then ‘Fabulous John’ (lead vocals). The group rehearsed overtop of Gary’s parent’s store on Frederick Avenue. They performed covers of hits by artists such as Little Richard, Hank Ballard, Platters, Elvis at teen centers and CYO’s throughout Maryland. Also placed second in a battle of the bands at Gwynn Oak Park.

Thompson went on to the Del Vinos… He and Loomis were later with the Combonaires. Nick Margaritas later with the Upsetters. Alex went on to play local piano bars through the early ‘90s. Lockard later with the Strollers, Untouchables… Later known as Jimmy Slick, Lockard went on to play jazz with many of the best musicians in Baltimore.
