Jazz / pop group played clubs in Baltimore and summer of ‘73 at Ocean City clubs. Members included Barbara Riehl (lead vocals, flute, sax ex-Pumphouse), Walt Namuth (guitar ex-Claude Hubbard Trio), Louis Scherr (keyboards), and Bob Wyatt (drums ex-Mellow Men, Essence).
Namuth had played with the Buddy Rich Big Band, appearing on the 1968 Pacific Jazz LP “Mercy, Mercy”, and formed his own jazz trio in late ‘70s. Wyatt played with Maynard Ferguson, Scott Cunningham, O’Donel Levy, Scorpio Rising… Riehl went on to front many popular local groups including Natural Wildlife, Joy, Monopoly…
