Jazz saxophonist. His recordings are synonymous with smooth jazz.
As a youngster Waters played in bands that featured his brothers James Waters (bass), and Eric Waters, with another local jazz great Cyrus Chestnut.
Since 1998 Waters has scored at least ten chart topping jazz/R&B albums and singles, and sold over a million records.
