‘Tortured psychedelic post-punk’ originals and cover band featured Dave Conroy (guitar, vocals), John Chriest (bass, vocals ex-Null Set), Millie Landrum (keyboards, vocals), and Lou Frisino (drums, vocals ex-Null Set). Group was managed by Mark ‘Straz’ Strazza. All members wrote songs.
Van Go’s Ear played many places, but Cultured Pearl, Galaxy Ballroom, and Marble Bar stand out. They shared bills with local bands Reptile House, Thee Katatonix, and others.
Chriest, Landrum, and Frisino formed The Melvyn in 1985, a band also managed by Strazza.
