Recording artist featuring Tony Trevi, with Jimmy Richards, Al Baron, and Mark Stevens…

Seen at Mago Vista Beach in summer of 1961.

Their record release “While Walking” b/w “Our Love Is Over” was produced by Ray Donahoe and released on his Chesapeake label.

U.K. collector and historian Ken Brown wrote to say “I was “digging” around the single I have called “Proud Guy” by Monroe Taylor & The Soul Mates. Attached is the band picture of Tony (Trevi) & The Raindrops (captioned in the newspaper as The Four Raindrops, although the Baltimore Sounds book notes member Jimmy Jackson and the newspaper picture has Jimmy Richards).”

Ken also notes “that on “Proud Guy” Mark Stevens is producer & director. Mark Stevens was Mark Gordesky. He was from New Jersey and a vocalist (not lead) on The Dovells “Bristol Stomp”.”

“Tony & The Raindrops B-side “Our Love Is Over” has M. Gordesky & M. Baron as writer credits. The A-side “While Walking” has A. Baron as arranger.” Thanks Ken.
