Surf / alternative ‘50s-60s style rock instrumental group formerly known as The Walker’s. Group became known as the Swiv-O-Matics in 1997 although the members kept their assumed Walker’s stage names. Their debut album “Music to Get Lucky By” noted members as the Walkers: Dave Powers aka Dive Walker (guitar), Speed Walker (bass), and Larry Levy aka Helmet Walker (drums), with Cat Levy aka Cat Bikini (vocals, dancer). In addition to their discography listed below, their song “I, the Swiv” was included on the “Invisible Sound Studios Sampler Vol. 1” CD.
The Levy’s were later known as a duo called the Histrioniks (2004+)… Larry established his Larry Levy Drum Studio in Mount Washington where he teaches music and vocals.
