Internationally known and award-winning smooth jazz singer-songwriter Tim Camponeschi, aka Slim Man. A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, keyboards…) veteran musician of numerous local rock bands including Momma Max, Joshua, Bootcamp… Worked for Motown Records in New York. Hosted Marlboro sponsored talent contest for country music and discovered Ronnie Dunn who later went on to team up with Kix Brooks (Brooks & Dunn). His compositions include “Summer Days” as recorded by Angela Bofill.

In the ‘90s he assumed the monicker ‘Slim Man’ and focused his primary musical style to jazz. In addition to live performances and studio recordings, Slim Man hosted the local radio program “Smooth Jazz Brunch” on WLIF 102FM. He recorded many commercial radio jingles and released a series of ‘smooth jazz’ albums that all placed in various popularity charts worldwide. CDs include “End of the Rainbow” (featuring the Top-10 song “Faith in Us”), “Closer to Paradise,” “Secret Rendezvous,” and “jazzified.”
Slim Man has opened for George Bensen, David Sanborn, Lionel Richie, etc. Performances at JVC Jazz Festival, Catalina Jazz Festival, various other jazz concerts, festivals, etc. Live performances include Voice of America radio, XM Radio, television appearances in Baltimore and several other cities throughout the country.
Slim Man also led jazz group Bona Fide, a band that was named “Best New Artist” at the 2001 Smooth Jazz Awards.
