From the Loose Shoes / Rude Shoes circle of musicians also came the Shameless Mooks (1982-’00s), a rock, reggae, R&B, and funk band that started out as a jam session and continued together for more than 20 years. Members included Bob Friedman (bass, keys, vocals), H. Leo McLaughlin (guitar, bass), Dave Carrera (guitar), Hoppy Hopkins (drums), with Dave Fairall (sax, keys), Bill Boublitz (organ), Lantz Cox (drums), and more recently Paul Soroka (sax, lyricon, keys).
