Rock and roll group from Gwynn Oak Junction area. John Redding (piano, trombone), Carmen Popoli (sax), Snookie Palumbo (bass). The Rock-A-Beats performed at teen centers and clubs including Finnegan’s, and Carl’s Club 33. Redding went on to join Al Knight’s Untouchables. He was later known by his stage name Johnny Walker.
