New wave style band that drew from its ‘60s musical roots. The band featured three members who were previously lead singers. Warren Cherry (lead vocals – formerly of Dew Dwarf, Sass, Rampages, Gyro), and two former lead singers of Procreation: Jerry Gibbs (bass), and Gary Griffiths (drums – also ex-Panda, Please). Also rounding out the lineup was guitarist Paul Stegman. The Risk performed at the Holiday House, Jo’s Organic Bar (later known as the Eight by Ten on Cross Street), Buffalo Nickel, Dulaney Inn, Sgt. Pepper’s, Hanratty’s, and various other area clubs….
