Concert venue hosting national artists as well as some of the best local groups. The venue is long gone, currently the site of a BJ’s warehouse store.

[Michael Goldberg] I have some on these.
[Joe Vaccarino] Hi Michael, been a while – hope all is well!
[Michael Goldberg] All is good in Va Beach… enjoy all the updates…. The Tree Frog story should be published!
[Bill Falkenstine] Saw Redbone (they ROCKED), The Beach Boys (they ROCKED), other cool shows too numerous to mention.
[Blair Aaronson] Amazing I played at that gig Lucifer’s Mother was the band I was in. 1969. Yep I was 14 years old when i did that gig! and then we went and opened Ocean City Convention Center with Rare Earth! Now that was a special night. I was in Lucifers Mother that played that gig with Peaches & Herb!
[Chuck Hughes] Saw Johnny Winter And there.
[Susan Hartz] Richie Havens!
[Brian Cain] Still have these …

[Joe Vaccarino] Priceless! Any stories about Tree Frog?
[Brian Cain] One distinct memory … if you worked as an usher at Painters Mill before a Tree Frog show you could stay and watch the show for free. I worked an Allman bros show in the fall of ’71 (I think), it was the end of a tour. The Allman’s went home after the show and Duane passed shortly thereafter. The show I worked was his last live performance.

[Edward Martin Bartholomey] It was a great venue to see the Bee Gees w/orchestra, Badfinger, Hollies, Donovan, etc.
