The Outlaws were a Top-40 band from the Towson / Joppa Road area. They performed at local CYO’s and teen centers. Members included Mike Mullen (lead vocals), Wayne Penczek (lead guitar – later with Deltas, McKeever), Dave Jorio (rhythm), Jim Allender (bass), Bill Holler (keyboards), and Don Gunter (drums – later with the Deltas).
Mullen left in late 1965 and later joined Little Richie & the Jesters.
In 1967 the band became known as the Shadwells.
