R&B group the Outbursts evolved from the original lineup of Hoi Polloi, made up of mainly Loyola High School students, consisted of Leo Nechamkin (trumpet), Rick Heil (trombone), John Tilley (trumpet), John Imhoff (tenor sax), Dave Tilley (organ), adding John Guidera (guitar), along with a bass guitarist and drummer.
The Outbursts performed as backing rhythm and brass for the Camaros vocal group. The groups performed together at teen centers, school dances and the ‘Mod ’69 Act III’ festival at Painter’s Mill on May 28, 1969. Seen at the Gwynn Falls Rec Center, Patterson Park Y Teen center…
