Variety music with stage show featuring vocal quintet of Amory Strange (ex-Potentials), Gary Heil, Hini Tolapi, Julie Bauer (-Gazze), and Ann Alexander, with Mike DeVito (pianist/arranger), and Dave ‘Dil’ Frieman (upright bass). Viki Ford (piano, sax ex-Dime Store Split, The Westside) joined the group in 1990.
Opus V worked at the Baltimore Fish Market, NYC, overseas and in Central America for the Department of Defense/USO tours. They also came in second place in The Marvin Hamlish “Search for a Star” competition in Baltimore. When the group returned from tour Amory, Viki and Dil started a trio call Smooth Endings.
