Roots rock and Grateful Dead style jam cover band from Northern Virginia, named after a track on the Dead’s LP “Anthem of the Sun.” The group gained popularity throughout the mid-Atlantic region and opened for or headlined for many big-name acts. They signed a long-term deal with Rykodisc Records. Seen locally at Dulaney Inn, Hammerjacks, P.T. Flagg’s, Bayou (DC), Warner Theater… The group split around 1992 and re-formed in ‘00s.
