Mary Lou Magee got her start as a fill in singer for Demetri Callas and his band Flashback. Demetri heard Mary Lou singing while she was working in the kitchen at the Windsor Inn, and he encouraged her to come out and sing with his group. After stints with Centerfold, and Kaos, Mary Lou and members of Kaos formed the Untouchables in 1992 to play blues, R&B, and funk.
The original lineup featured ex-Kaos members Mary Lou (vocals), Danny Lough (guitar), and John Gleim (drums ex-Phoenix, Admirals), adding Charlie Hamilton (keys ex-Fast Forward), Tom Roach (bass), Al Dahlstrom (sax), Saul Strieb (trombone), Bobby List (sax ex-Brassworks)… Changes to the lineup included Roach replaced with Steve Sengstacke (ex-Double Jeopardy, Showdown…). Steve was later replaced with John Postley. John later suffered a heart attack in 2000 and had to quit playing. He was replaced with bass guitarist Anthony Setola. List was replaced with Brian Sanders (ex-Joyride). Strieb replaced with Moe Goldman. Tommy Crawford (sax) replaced Dahlstrom for a while before Al returned. Lough was replaced with Sean O’Brien (ex-Clever by Design, Modern Vogue), then Danny later returned.
Their 1996 CD “Untouched” featured Mary Lou with Lough, Sengstacke, Hamilton and Gleim.

The group played clubs throughout Baltimore area, Ocean City… They were voted 1999 Ocean City’s ‘Best Band on the Beach.’ Events included the Ehrlich/Steele Governor’s Ball, annual performances for House of Delegates. They opened shows for many top artists including Ray Charles, Clarence Clemons, War, K.C. & the Sunshine Band… Appeared on local television programs “Wake Up Baltimore,” “Rodricks for Breakfast”…
A mid-2007 lineup featured Mary Lou (vocals), Brad Kimes (drums), Jay Dulaney (bass), Sean O’Brien (guitar), Charlie Hamilton (keyboards), Tom Crawford (sax), Al Dahlstrom (sax), and Moe Goldman (sax).
Mary Lou also did stint as member of Danny Dolan’s First Class. She once accompanied former Ravyn Rob Fahey in singing the song “Raised on Radio” on the “O.C. Secrets” radio program.
