Formed in Baltimore after the breakup of Special Delivery. The Manhattan Project worked the club circuit and later worked cruise ship lines under management of Big Beat Productions out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Members included Tony Oester (lead vocals), Bob Rowl (soundman and vocals), Rob Nace (guitar), Roger Wilhelm (bass ex-Changing Tymes, Best Friends), Clint Dick (keyboards), and Bob Creighton (drums ex-Changing Tymes, Best Friends). Nace was replaced with Kevin Parker (guitar ex-Tricks, Fresh Air, Extasy) – who left in September 1988 and was in turn replaced with Bobby Rauch (guitar ex-Jeopardy, Showdown).
Oester later with Sentries, Crowded Stage…
