Formed in 1975 with Vince DiGiosafati (acoustic guitar aka-Vincent Daryl), Jimmy Hughes (bass ex-Legend, Raintree), and John Linthicum (electric guitar ex-Jeremiah, Animal Crackers). The trio primarily performed full time at the Steak & Ale in Timonium. Featuring tight vocal harmonies, great guitar work, a floor show featuring humorous antics, they performed covers and originals, and packed the house on a regular basis.
In 1977 Vince left to pursue a teaching career and John went on to join Bandit. Guitarist Bill Roberts (ex-Episode, Paco) joined the group.
Jimmy’s ex-Legend bandmates Bill Krahling (guitar), and Bob Hughes (drums) joined the group. Jimmy and Bobby (no relation) had also at one time been bandmates in Raintree. The trio released a single on the Skyline label, both sides original songs written by Krahling.

Lineups of The Lower East Side made studio recordings of Vince’s original songs featuring the original group of Vince, John and Jimmy, with appearances by Alex Cadoux (bass), and Bob Jones (drums).
Vince went on to work as a part-time solo guitarist and later rejoined John in the groups Bandit and Nightshift. John also played in Pinch. Bill was later with Breezin,’ and City Lights… Bob Hughes could be seen in the ‘00s with the band Jigsaw featuring Al Donatelli, and Steve Lentkowski.
