Pianist Eddie Long (ex-Troubadors), orchestra leader, as well as his namesake Quartet and Quintet.
Vocalist Jerri Fiorilli fronted the group at the Club 40 in 1959. Eddie’s groups also featured song stylist June Evett, saxophonist Reds Feehley, and many others.
Into the ‘60s they performed house band stints at Buddy’s Subway Lounge, the Keystone Jazz Room, the Carousel, and the Corral Inn on 46th Street with Herbie Zampini.
