Rockin’ blues and classic rock band formed in Orlando, Florida by transplanted D.C./Baltimore guitarist Marc Levant (ex-Jade). In mid-‘80s Levant returned to the area and formed a new version of the band in Towson with regional musicians Charlie Williams (harp), Kevin Hornbuckle, Josh Scheps (drums), Kyle Hollingsworth (keyboards), Rob Dee, Dave Burrelli, and Dave Frey (bass).

Loaded Roller performed at Café Tattoo, Max’s on Broadway, Bentz Street Raw Bar, Eight by Ten, Full Moon, Last Chance Saloon, Fatty’s… And Eastern Shore clubs Talbot Street Café’ Red Eye’s Dock Bar, Alonzo’s… They opened shows for many great acts including Rick Derringer, Gatemouth Brown, Jimmy Thackery & the Assassins, the Rev. Billy C. Wirtz, Saffire, and many others.

The group went through personnel changes that included Bernie Ozol (bass), Rae Venetianer (sax), Bob Schleimer (keys, guitar ex-Dark Horse), and the final lineup featured original members Levant (guitar), and Williams (harp), along with Mike Lange (piano), Danny Powell (bass), and Mike D’Amato (drums).

Williams known as ‘Choo Choo Charlie’ later led the Spitfires, of which Scheps was also a member… Hollingsworth went on to Black Friday, and later with Denver based jam band String Cheese Incident… Ozol later with Totally Confused… Lange joined the Blues Attitudes. Lange and D’Amato were later with Boogie Express, Levant with classic rock band Whatever, and released solo CD “Back in Time” in 2006… Powell later with the Skyla Burrell Band…
