Rock and roll band originated in Ann Arundel County featuring vocalists Angel Marie and Jeff Bright, John Bald (bass ex-Phonecians), the Lexingtons played teen centers and the school dance circuit. Seen at Holy Comforter, Joppatowne Teen Center, and Mouse Trap Teen Center; St. Brigid’s CYO, St. Anthony’s CYO, St. Patrick’s CYO, Holy Rosary CYO, and St. Phillip Neri CYO. They performed in the Battle of the Bands at St. Stephen’s CYO on August 19, 1966 vs. the Mystics, Scotch-Grains, and the Strangers. Appeared at the Hide-A-Way Teen Center show hosted by WCAO’s Johnny Dark. Seen at the Pier Ballroom in Ocean City during the summer of 1967. Also performed for the College of Commerce in 1968.

Angel Marie sang lead vocals backed by Froggy & the Gremlins for an advertising jingle for Black & Decker recorded at Bradley Studios (see Froggy & the Gremlins).

The original Lexingtons band split off in 1969 becoming the Ambassadors.
