The group signed with the newly formed Caravelle Ltd. in 1968 (soon to be known as Bay Sound Records).

The group collaborated with jazz vocalist Ernie Andrews, backing him on his 1970 Phil-L.A. of Soul LP and touring nationally.

The Fuzzy Kane Trio continued to perform throughout the ‘70s-80s, they were seen in November 1984 at the first annual Baltimore Jazz Heritage Festival, and at the Baltimore Jazz Showcase at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall along with the Arnold Sterling Trio and a newly re-formed Tracy McCleary Band. Vocalist Earlene Reed sang with the group – later with In Flight. Guitarist Marshall Booze played with the group in the ‘80s. Kane could be seen in the ‘00s with Vernon Wolst & the Big Blues Band.
