Teen vocalist and songwriter Arlene Cohen aka Arlene Joy recorded at Jack Gale’s studio. The masters for her song “Twistin’ Suzie Q” were sold to Rendezvous Records by Gale’s Jalo Music and released in 1962. Her recording of “Potato Chips” written by the Cohen’s was released on Dayhill Records.
Arlene performed her songs “Twistin’ Suzie Q” and “Potato Chips” on the Buddy Deane show.
