Annapolis based rock jam band of Jimi Haha (vocals, guitar), Jimmy McD (guitar), Colovita Che’ Lemon (bass), and Jimmy Chaney (drums).

Early live recordings on Fowl label (“Chicken Scratch” 1993, and “spit burger lottery” 1994) were released as “2 for 1 Special.”

November 1995

Their song Another Day was included on the 1995 local music comp “Spitting Seeds III.” “Bonjam” was included on 1996 comp “An Udderly Fowl Release” (Fowl 420).

July 1997

“Return to Sender” was included on 1997 comp “Adventures in Mobtown” (Kwality 74202). Their 1997 album “Pushing the Salmanella Envelope” featured the quartet above with studio work of John Partridge (sax), Mike Rippee (keyboards), and Mary Prankster (vocals). The album was recorded at Oz Studios and went on to sell over 200,000 copies and featured the hit “High” that made regular rotation on MTV.

In addition to heavy touring schedule nationally, the group opened for many top national groups including Creed at the 9:30 Club in D.C.

Their 1999 “Slow Change” EP featured guest appearance by Brian Wagner (Underfoot), and Brandon Boyd (DJiMB) of Incubus, P.J. Smith (percussion), and Stefan Broadley (keyboards, percussion).

In 2000 Che’ Lemon left to join Rebel Amish Radio, with their bassist Derrick Dorsey coming to join the Shack. Jimmie later formed the Jarflys…
