Top-40 rock and R&B band formed in 1969. A 1970 lineup featured Greg Therres (lead vocals ex-Night Walkers), with rhythm section of Stan Turk (guitar), Tom Concannon (bass ex-Tempests), ‘Mac’ Kevin McCallam (keyboards ex-Jeopardy, Anthology), and Jere Stermer (drums ex-Tempests), The horn section consisted of Larry Vakoutis (trumpet), and Dave Estes (trombone ex-Exquisites). Later members included John Linthicum (guitar), Tony Fenloch (bass), George Walters (keyboards ex-Barbara & the Yellow Pages), Joe Stamboni (drums), Al Jackson (trumpet), Don Lassahn (guitar ex-Nicky C & Chateaux, Bleu Lights, Raven, later with Patch), Harold ‘Heime’ Whitwer (guitar -Tommy Vann’s Professionals, Pandemonium, Koffee Beans). Linthicum, Fenloch, and Stamboni were previously members of G. C. & the El Rays.


Seen at college frat parties, proms, Seagull Inn, Hoffman’s, Ventuno 21 (D.C.), USO dances, the Parkville Teen Center, the UAW Hall on October 9, 1970 with Rasputin, and Black Cherry. Also seen at the Keystone Inn, The Gallery, and Wednesday nights at the Other Place.



Therres later fronted Tamerlane as Dr. Feelgood and became a proprietor of the Starleigh Talent Agency. Turk went on to U.S. of A., United Endeavor. Concannon was later with Fallacy, the New Sentries. Stermer played for Shane, Spring Fever, Dryed Ice. Linthicum went on to join Animal Crackers, Carnival, Lower East Side, Bandit, Pinch, Nightshift… Stamboni joined Flaggstaff, Phoenix… Walters joined the Koffee Beans, Carnival, Bandit… Lassahn’s later groups included Patch, Wise Guise… Linthicum and Fenloch were later members of the ’00s band The Soul Messengers.
