Lansdowne area teen British invasion and soul band formed in 1967 consisting of John Wallace (lead guitar), Jim Wickless (rhythm), Denny Tragilio (guitar), Bill Johnson (keyboards), Howard Pease (bass), and Mike Juskelis (drums).

During their couple years of existence, they successfully competed in many battle of the band contests including taking 4th place in the soul category in a Baltimore Civic Center battle of the bands. The Jades played many teen centers, CYO’s, and school dances under the management of John Dillow. They played at The Zoo in Brooklyn and made an appearance on the Kerby Scott Show. Changes in personnel over the years included adding lead vocalist Bruce Stevens, and adding Dave Sasser (sax/trumpet). Mike Gervinski replaced Wallace on guitar. When Howard Pease quit Denny Tragilio switched to bass.

Juskelis went on to join Turn the Page, a band that also featured former Pizazz band members George Allen, Jim Wickless, and along with members of the ‘80s/’90s Baltimore band Burp the Cat.
