Fusion band formed by Al McKinney (keyboards – formerly of Carlos Johnson’s Zone 1, and the Luther Ingram Band), Charlie Williams (trumpet ex-Charlie & Co.), Dave Smith (sax), Jimmy Wilson (trumpet), Gary Grainger (bass- ex Luther Ingram band), Daryl ‘Yogi’ Dickerson (drums ex-Charlie & Co) – later replaced with George Gray (The Grand Jury). Inner Visions could be heard at Gatsby’s, Scorpio, Sportsmen’s Lounge, Bird Cage… also performed in D.C. area clubs.
The group later became known as Pockets.
