Jazz alto-saxophonist and Grammy nominated recording artist. Member of late-’80s local jazz group Ethos. He attended Baltimore School for The Arts, Berklee College of Music, and landed in New York jazz scene as a session musician and recording artist in his own rite, later becoming a jazz professor at Aaron Copland School of Music in New York City.
Aaron’s work can be heard on recordings by Roy Hargrove, Gary Bartz, Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, and many others.
Solo album releases include “For The First Time” (RCA, 1991), Don’t You Know I Care (RCA, 1992), “For Cannonball & Woody (RCA, 1993), “It’s All Good” (RCA, 1995), “Here I Stand” (Impulse, 1997 – Grammy nominated for ‘Best Jazz Instrumental Solo’), “The Collected Antonio Hart” (RCA, 1998), “Ama ti Sonrisa” (Enja, 2001), “All We Need” (Chiaroscuro, 2004).
