The Frustrations began in summer of 1965. Guitarist Mike Janos started the band with fellow Calvert Hall classmate Pat Gill who managed the band and booked all their gigs. Their lead vocalist was Jimmy Winters. The group played CYO’s and teen centers all over town, and a night club gig (The Pink Pussycat) that lasted one week.
