Ellicott City based band described by The Washington Post as “blues / thrashabilly / cowpunk / roadhouse music. Members Joe Reyes (lead guitar -Reyes Brothers), Bruce Barton (guitar, vocals), David Cramer (bass), Bernard Mara (drums).

Group released a 6-song demo EP titled “Yikes!” in 1991. A song from the set “Pizza Strip Joint Combination Laundromat” made playlists of local rock radio stations. The EP was remastered by Jef Chance in 2013 and was included in their digital release “Now And Then.”

The Floyd Bauers performed throughout the Baltimore/Washington area. Seen at The Riverbank, Steeltown, The Paragon (College Park), The Bayou (D.C.)… They shared stages with the likes of Foghat, Blackfoot, and others. Later Subsequent members of the group included Ronnie Kline (bass) and Jeff Bostic (drums).

In 2024 group members consisted of Barton, Bostic, with Bryan Lathbury (guitar), Chris Mooney (bass). They released a seven-song collection “Truckstop Manifesto.” Venues included Reckless Shepherd Brewery, The Periodic Table…
