Rock and Top-40 group formed in the Irvington area of West Baltimore. Members included Rick Fisher (vocals, guitar), Mike Gardiner (guitar), Van Ertel (bass ex-Chadwicks), Jim Carothers (keyboards ex-Denny & Chadwicks), Rod Arment (piano ex-Coyote), and Tom Helms (drums ex-Nomads, Skyliners).

Membership changes included Arment replaced with Tom Groszer (ex-Groszer Brothers) and later with Bob Marvin, Helms replaced with Bart Arconti (ex-Panda, Please), Gardiner replaced with Hiram Bullock. Vocalist Collette Kelly was also added to the group.

Felix performed at the Wells Fargo Underground Express, Parkville American Legion, Judges, Rhapsody, Mardi Gras, Latin Casino, Hollywood Palace, UMBC…

Fisher, Arment, and Helms formed City Star. Ertel founded Baltimore Sound Co. Helms went on to play in Steppin’ Blues, Shotgun, and continued to perform in the ‘00s with the B-More Blues Band. Arconti later with Monopoly. Gardiner formed Felix 2. Bullock (see bio) went on to a successful career.
