Vocalist Marvin Benefield, known on record as Vince Everett was from Atlanta, Georgia and attended U of MD. He released two singles in association with Jack Gale (see bio) including the first on Scottie Goings’ Saga label. Goings was owner of the Great Scott Record Shop in D.C.

Everett went on to record several singles on the ABC-Paramount label during the 1960s. He appears on LP’s “The Presley Sound of Vince Everett” (Rockin 006), and Vince Everett & Friends “We All Wane Sound Like Elvis” (Tail 101). Everett also released a single using the alias Marvin Fields.
